Observation

Cleavage. At work. In February.

So hugely inappropriate. (Some would argue that it's always inappropriate and I'm inclined to agree.)

That's all I want to say.

Discuss if you like.

That's hilarious, b/c in my profession (real estate) cleavage is a norm. In my new office (which I LOVE), there's a lot more ... um...reasonable... people. (i guess that's the word)HOWEVER, in sales meeting on Tues. there was this one woman w/ a RIDICULOUS amount of cleavage. I mean, I'm a woman and I could barely look at her face b/c it was so distracting... I felt sorry for the men! So I'm w/ you.. it's totally unprofessional and out of place in the office!

I totally agree. There is a lady that I work with on occassion who has cleavage showing every time I ever see her. And to make it worse, it seems like she always wears some type of spandex tank to make it look like she has more than she really does. Not at all attractive. Of course, being pregnant I tend to notice how much cleavage pregnant women show. It's unbelievable at times. Maybe they're just proud & want to show it. Whatever the reasoning I think it's distracting, unprofessional, & completly unnecessary.

I think one of the WORST places to share your bountiful blessings is in an elementary school. Sometimes it is shocking to see what some of the teachers will wear. Since I have started subbing for the elem. schools I have gotten an eye full on more than one occasion. What is one of the first things an elem. teacher does when a child walks up to them? BEND OVER - come on have a little common sense!!!! The ironic thing is that when I was having my "training" to become a sub the instructor told us flat out to keep that mess covered up - it was unprofessional and tacky -I guess they forgot to send that memo to the rest of the staff members!!!!!
